For Presenters:

Presentation time for each paper at concurrent sessions is usually 15min (presentation) + 5min (discussion). For keynote lectures, it is 25min + 5min. Each session room is equipped with PC with Windows 7 (Power Point 2013 (Microsoft Office Home & Business 2013) and Acrobat Reader DC (15.017.20053) installed). You should come to the session room fifteen minutes before the session starts, at the latest, to see the chairpersons and to prepare for the session. You may use your own PC but you should check its adaptability with the video projector in the session room by yourself before your sessions start.

For Chair Persons:

Please check the profile of presenters, which has already been sent by e-mail, and collect the information about the speakers in the session that you are going to chair. Please come to the session room early enough to see the presenters and for the preparation of the session. Please keep 15min. for presentation and 5min. for questions for speakers of regular presentation while 25min. presentation and 5min. for questions is for keynote lecturers.

Welcome Reception: 26th(Mon), 19:00-, at Ito Hall

Ice breaking reception at the symposium venue. Light meal and drink will be served. Sponsors' exhibition will also be opened.

Technical Tour: 28th(Wed.) 9:00-17:00, Meeting at Ito Hall at 8:30. Joining with walking shoes is preferable.

One day bus tour to see the structures in Tokyo from inside, starting from the university and ending at Tokyo Forum at Ginza area. Each bus stops at three nice examples of structures, picked out from each group of legacy structures, huge base-isolated buildings and fashionable buildings.

Conference Dinner: 29th(Thu.) at Asakusa View Hotel. Please bring your dinner ticket and name tag.

Participants of the symposium will get together in the evening for the Japanese style dinner experiencing a short show of Japanese traditional performances. It is also a good opportunity to get to know each other with people from all over the world. Enjoy the evening.

Tour to Tension Structures: (1st Oct. 9:00-14:00)

A free post symposium tour to tension structures around Tokyo, including White Rhino, tensegrity skeletons supporting membrane roof, is now under planning. The tour will be established if the commitee see the enough number of participants.


Selected Proposals of Design Competition of New National Stadium Japan: (26th-30th at Ito Hall)

The panels of five winning proposals of the competition will be displayed in the symposium venue.
